CALM LIPO MILK is an extremely mild skin care milk that is essentially based on jojoba oil, phospholipids and water. Despite its comparatively simple composition, CALM LIPO MILK has special properties: it is processed into an emulsion using ultrasound so that its oil droplets are around ten times smaller than those of a conventional emulsion. For this reason, it is absorbed very well and combines particularly well with the skin's own hydrolipidic film.
The few ingredients have been carefully selected: The composition of jojoba oil is similar to the structure of human sebum, making jojoba oil ideal for repairing the skin barrier. Once applied, jojoba oil immediately mixes with the skin's own lipid film and is therefore able to close the small gaps in the skin's own barrier. Jojoba oil therefore offers wonderful properties for soothing stressed, sensitive and over-nourished skin conditions.
Phospholipids are another important component of ESSENTIAL LIPO MILK . Phospholipids are an important source of lipids in the body and are found in every cell.
As the skin's own substance, these membrane lipids help jojoba oil to strengthen the skin barrier. They also increase the absorption of vitamins A and E from jojoba oil and improve the skin's ability to absorb moisture.
Due to its composition, it is excellent for repairing the damaged skin barrier and forms a light, nourishing oil film on the skin without being occlusive or feeling greasy.

Is the CALM LIPO MILK also suitable for dehydrated skin?
Yes. Dehydrated skin needs more moisture than lipids overall, but for this reason it should not only be supplied with moisturizing but also moisture-binding active ingredients. Since the skin barrier is damaged in dehydrated skin, repairing ingredients are important. The ESSEMTIAL LIPO MILK combines these properties and can also be used on dehydrated combination skin.
I have perioral dermatitis – can I use CALM LIPO MILK?
In perioral dermatitis, the skin is in an over-nourished state and reacts to care products with unpleasant, inflammatory blisters and nodules. Here, strictly speaking, a "zero diet" is best for the skin, so that it learns to restore its functions. However, the minimalistically formulated CALM LIPO MILK is a way to cushion this zero diet (which is also sometimes very unpleasant) and can be used carefully in the case of PERIORAL DERMATITIS.
I have very dry skin. Is the CALM LIPO MILK sufficient as a care product?
For very dry skin, the CALM LIPO MILK can be a good supplement. However, it is usually not enough as sole care. For this reason, you can mix or enrich the care emulsion wonderfully with another care product. Combine the CALM LIPO MILK with RE:STORE or the CALM FACE OIL.

Jojoba oil - the unique care miracle from the desert
In some deserts grows the jojoba bush, from whose nuts the light yellow jojoba oil is extracted. Strictly speaking, jojoba oil is not an oil at all, but a liquid wax whose composition is similar to the structure of human sebum. For this reason, jojoba oil mixes excellently with the skin's own lipid film and thus closes gaps in the skin barrier. Jojoba oil is rich in vitamins A and E, increases elasticity and strengthens the skin's microbiome, i.e. the skin's own bacterial balance: it deprives bad bacteria of their nutritional basis, which is particularly prevalent in dry, sensitive, oily and blemished skin.
