There are many triggers for dark spots and discoloration of the skin: too much sun, injuries, acne scars or hormonal fluctuations can lead to minute inflammations in the skin. The consequence: a disturbed melanin synthesis, also called postinflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). This inflammation-related hyperpigmentation is often accompanied by redness due to the increased blood flow to the affected skin areas.
In sum, spots, discolorations or redness make the skin appear visually "older" than wrinkles or lines do. This was shown, among other things, by an elaborate study conducted by the University of Göttingen, with a clear result: the more homogeneous the skin appearance, the younger and healthier the face was estimated to be, regardless of gender or age.
BRIGHT! LIQUID is a highly effective and easy-to-use therapeutic product for the daily treatment of dark spots and hyperpigmentation.
The formulation with 2% tranexamic acid, 3% niacinamide and special whitening peptides from peas and quinoa is well tolerated and suitable for all skin types.
The liquid is applied like a toner, i.e. between cleansing and serum (HighDroxy care step 2). Thus, it can be wonderfully combined with other active ingredient serums, such as the BRIGHT! C+ BOOSTER. The silky, fluid texture of the liquid is quickly absorbed and moisturizes the skin, so that it better absorbs the subsequent care.
Use the BRIGHT! LIQUID in the morning and/or evening like a toner after cleansing your face.
Dispense the liquid into the palm of your hand or onto a cotton pad and apply sparingly to your face.

The complex of vitamin C, resveratrol, ferulic acid, licorice extract and Szechuan pepper, together with other active ingredients, counteracts and gradually fades spots and discolorations when used regularly.
This active ingredient derived from the amino acid lysine is - in the best sense of the word - old hat in medicine: tranexamic acid has already been used here for decades to stop bleeding.

Licorice extract is rich in glycyrrhetinic acid. It combines anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antioxidant properties, thereby promoting a balanced skin tone with less redness and troubled areas.
In addition, it inhibits the enzyme tyrosinase, which is involved in the formation of melanin in the skin. Thus, glycyrrhetinic acid is also able to reduce hyperpigmentation.
Combine brightening active ingredients
The BRIGHT! LIQUID can be wonderfully combined with other complexion-balancing active ingredients. For example, the C+ BOOSTER from the same series, or mildly exfoliating products such as HYDROPEEL SENSITIV. Exfoliation accelerates the removal of excess skin pigments.
Use UV protection consistently
UV radiation stresses your skin not only in summer, but all year round. And your skin reacts to this stress with the formation of pigment cells. Therefore, it is especially important for the treatment of pigment spots to use a daily care with UV protection - for example, our DAY LIGHT 30.
Please be patient
Pigment spots do not appear overnight - and therefore do not fade in a few days. The reduction of melanin accumulation in your skin is a gradual process. However, with consistent use of skin-lightening active ingredients, you will see success.
