Help with dry skin and rough patches
Do you have the feeling that nothing is nourishing enough for your dry skin or that the skin seems tight and rough again shortly after applying cream? Dry skin genetically lacks lipids, it simply produces too little of them. Usually the skin also loses moisture as a result, and sometimes you can also see small skin flakes or rough patches. Dry skin needs moisture in depth, lipids as well as active ingredients that repair the skin surface, i.e. the lipid barrier.

Fine products that are very effective yet non-irritating. I am very satisfied.

Avoid too much facial cleansing
Dry skin usually suffices to be cleansed with a product once a day (in the evening), while lukewarm water is usually sufficient in the morning. A mild cleansing gel, cleansing milk or oil-based cleanser is best. A cleanser with water should be pH-neutral and surfactant-free - such as our popular CALM CLEANSER.
Mild exfoliation instead of mechanical peels
For rough areas or flaky skin, a gentle chemical peel with gentle AHA fruit acids helps to smooth the skin's surface and makes it more receptive to subsequent care products.
Avoid irritating combinations of active ingredients
Sometimes less is more: Vitamin C and retinol often have too high an irritant potential and should be avoided at first. If the barrier function of the dry skin is well strengthened, these active ingredients can be slowly introduced while observing the skin. Too many active ingredients at once also stress the skin!
Dry skin loves skin-soothing ingredients
Dry skin is usually also sensitive and should be treated gently. A few active ingredients such as bisabolol, frankincense, liquorice, niacinamide and panthenol are often sufficient. In addition, a combination of moisture-binding ingredients and lipids is always recommended!
